SN Operation is a U.S. infrastructure company. We find power, contract it, build the site around it and then run the site — in Illinois, on land and pads that are ours.
That puts us on both sides of the same asset. The sites we run today mine Bitcoin. The power behind them is not limited to mining: we have carried energy through to contract for AI data-center projects, where the load is bigger and the queue is longer. Same utilities, same studies, same lead times — a different tenant.
Finding load, negotiating it with the cooperative or the utility, and carrying it through study, agreement and energization. It is the slowest part of a site and it decides everything after it — for mining today and for AI and high-density compute, where the megawatts are bigger and the queue is longer.
Once the power is contracted, someone has to build the thing that uses it: the pad, the substation, the feeders, the transformers, the containers. We pour our own pads and our own crew does the work. A drawing stops being a drawing the day the first breaker closes.
Our people are on the pad, not on a call. Filters, hashboards, a breaker that tripped overnight, and the conversation with the utility when something has to come down. When a machine stops, somebody walks over to it.
Your machines, our site. You keep the pool account and the wallet — we never touch the coins. You get power, a rack, hands when something breaks, and a report every month that says what each machine did.
Contracts with local power companies give a stable, predictable supply — the one thing a 24/7 operation cannot improvise.
Data centers and mining have rules here, written down, and they do not change on you between signing a load and energizing it. Some states add tax and energy policy on top.
The grid is MISO, and in Illinois about half of everything generated is nuclear. Fiber to the site, Starlink behind it. None of that had to be built for us.
More than a third of the world's hashrate runs in the United States. Spares, technicians and buyers for used machines are a phone call away, not a freight forwarder away.
